European Assistant Product Manager [Czech Republic]

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting profitable growth of the categoryby collecting and analyzing market, supplier,and product data

• Ensuring that product assortment and sourcingdecisions are based upon market developments,customer • needs and supplier offers

• Working closely with regional productmanagement and procurement teams

• Supporting the introduction of new productsin collaboration with the commercial, marketing,pricing, and supply chain functions

• Facilitating and supporting category reviews

• Assisting with supplier management activitiesas well as preparing and supporting negotiationswith European suppliers

• Acting as a subject matter expert for productmanagement and procurement, providingguidance to internal and external stakeholders

• Occasional travel to LKQ Europe’s head officein Zug, Switzerland, and other regional offices

• Embedding and embracing LKQ Europe’scultures and values as we move towards onecompany with shared visions and goals.

Key and Desired Skills:

• Educated to degree level with recent internshipexperience, or alternatively, has 1-2 years ofexperience in data analysis or within a productand procurement environment

• Keen to begin a career in product management,procurement, and strategy development

• Experience or interest in working with advancedbusiness intelligence (BI) tools and data analysisand visualization

• Strong communication skills and the ability to buildrelationships and rapport with all stakeholders

• Cultural sensitivity and respect for colleaguesof all backgrounds

• Excellent organizational skills and adaptable to change

• Willingness to learn and grow within the roleand organization

• Detail-oriented with a drive for continuousachievement

• Team player with a proactive, versatile approach

• Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languagesis advantageous.
